I identify as a BIPOC, first-generation immigrant woman, and my personal experiences with both mental health and immigration continue to shape how I show up in the therapy space. I’m particularly passionate about supporting Filipino/Filipinx and other immigrant communities as they navigate the complex intersections of cultural identity, family expectations, and emotional well-being.
Growing up, I both witnessed and experienced the stigma surrounding mental health, especially within immigrant families and cultural contexts where emotional needs were often minimized or dismissed. These experiences have deeply informed my commitment to providing culturally responsive therapy that is grounded in anti-oppressive values.
I believe healing begins when individuals feel safe to express themselves fully, without fear of judgment, and are met with empathy, respect, and understanding as they move through their challenges.
I create a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, grounding my approach in empathy and curiosity while honouring their expertise in their own healing.
I draw from my diverse professional experiences, including working in end-of-life care and with individuals living with HIV/AIDS, to provide deep listening and empathy during times of vulnerability and transition.
My approach to therapy is integrative, drawing primarily from Person-Centred Therapy while incorporating modalities like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
I adapt these approaches to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.
Therapy is a collaborative process, and my role is to walk alongside you with warmth, respect, and support.
The journey may not always be easy, but it is one of self-discovery and growth that we can navigate together.

I’m an AuDHD (autistic & ADHD) psychotherapist with experience in supporting neurodivergent communities, racialized individuals, and survivors of gender-based violence. Myself and many of the folks I’ve worked with have often been labeled by others as “weird”, “lazy”, “awkward”, and/or “full of untapped potential”. My hope is that we can remove these unhelpful external labels and replace them with ones that you write yourself – ones that you can be proud of.
My work is informed by my experiences as a bi, neurodivergent, southeast asian, cisgendered woman.
As a person who has experienced many imbalances of power due to systems of oppression, I try to share power in the therapy space whenever I can by working from an anti-oppressive and trauma-informed lens.
I aim to use the therapeutic tools and strategies that best fit your needs and not try to fit your concerns into just one modality, therefore, I use a variety of different techniques that come from Internal Family Systems/Parts Work, focusing-oriented therapy, polyvagal theory, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
I’m committed to my own personal and professional growth as a therapist and am currently learning more about other modalities such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), so I can better serve you.

I am a first generation, queer, Malaysian immigrant who settled in Canada as a teenager, and my lived experiences shape my culturally responsive, trauma-informed approach to therapy. After almost a decade practicing law in Canada, I am familiar with the burnout, perfectionism, self-doubt and anxiety that can arise, especially if you are neurodivergent and/or you are navigating Canadian corporate, academic, and professional expectations on your own.
I would like to help you thrive in high-pressure environments without losing sight of your needs and values. I am neurodiversity affirming and utilize body liberatory and body neutrality frameworks.
I will tailor my approach to fit your individual needs and goals. I draw from the following modalities:
Internal Family Systems (IFS and Parts Work) Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Psychodynamic, strengths-based approaches
I bring a warm, open-minded, and curious approach to this work. We will look at your goals and work to understand how past experiences may have shaped our ways of thinking, relating, and coping. At other times of need, we will focus on the crisis at hand and explore coping skills together.
